I really look forward to spring/summer. I watch as a mated pair of Osprey raise their young. There are days, I get to see fuzzy heads with mom or dad feeding. On others, I don't see anything.
Grilltech and I kept talking how we should bring the camera and get pictures, because any day now our babies will be all grown up. On Friday, we both remember. And wouldn't you know it?
We can't see anyone.
Mom and Dad are flying around, but aren't interested in the least to pose for pictures.
After a while of chit-chat - for us - the kids stand up.
I'm still knitting. I've been doing some reading on the tantric puzzle top, and one of the chief complaints is it's not sturdy enough. Crap! So, the other one is on hold while I work the top in a cotton to see how well it works out for me. If I like it, I'll finish the pink one, other wise it's Frogtown.
Down the street:
Believe it or not, but I didn't have any supervisors while taking pictures. I wonder if I did it right...
List Day
- Counted three cars at the bar this morning
- Today, the shared drive is broken
yet again, so I'm trying to go to my happy place - One of the cow-orkers had her eyes tattooed, she's quite proud of herself
- Grilltech is bummed, because this weekend is the competition and I won't let him go
- Honestly, it has nothing to do with the fact he can't walk around the block
- I do get a certain amount of satisfaction of telling the Gnome to fix it chop, chop
- Database just crashed
- GAH, this leadership thing is a pain in the ass
- Seriously? I need to give you a suggestion of what to bring to a potluck?
- I'm glad this week is mostly over
And because I need a little pick me up:
All better now!
Livin' the Dream
Yip, that's me. Livin' the dream.
Friday was the old team lead's last day. Anyone want to take bets of who the new team lead is?
Which means, I have to:
Anyone, who has spend more than two minutes with me, knows I don't like dealing with people. And all of this comes with no increase of pay. Yip, livin' the dream.
* Okay, that might be a bit of an exaggeration, but it's close.
** I did get to use Have you tried turning it off and on again?

Which means, I have to:
- Be nice to people when they come whining to me that they should have blue paper, instead of pink*
- Walk to the Gnomes desk four or five times a day
- Spend the last ten-fifteen minutes of my day chatting the Gnome up
- And answer questions the team may have**

Monday
Down the street on a hot summer day:
My new top:
The yarn is splity and slick. When it's done, it will be awesome!
It's too hot to do any and I'm recovering from an infection. Ick.

List Day
- Counted two cars at the bar this morning
- Today's sunrise is a lovely pink/orange/blue-gray
- BBQer has a nasty cold, and I think it might be trying to jump to me
- I left my sweater at home today, because it's been hot recently, now I'm missing it
- Things you don't want to hear: the tool is broken and so is the back up one
- Yea, sounds like everyone is having fun
- It looks like rain might start falling anytime now, which is bad because car windows are down
- Now it's cloudy and windy, only rained for five minutes
- The 20 minute drive home was mostly sunny and clear
- Almost an hour later and it's cloudy again
- I'm using Lang Deauville(Rav) to make the top
- When I'm done swatching - it would be smarter to use smaller swatches instead of 130 sts - and have more then ten rows done, I'll post a picture
- I do have the PDF, am willing to share if people really want it
- I need to go wake up Grilltech from his nap
- Can't wait until next Wednesday
Posting, Optional?
I'm just going to pretend last week didn't fucking exist. This week, seems to be doing better. I mean - seriously - a short week due to a holiday and I took an extra day off to sleep in. Who could ask for more? I could ask for more, but it would seem ungrateful on my part.
I'm so easily distracted today, I was looking for the new pattern to show everyone what I'm working on and realized I needed to put up pictures of the finished sweater. Then, I couldn't leave well enough alone, I had to look at everyone else's projects. Because yanno, Ravelry is a huge time suck.
Anyway, I've started on a new project (Rav) for me. Don't have any pictures yet, but I did type up the pattern I'm going to use - it's called Four Winds Check. Right now it's was way to hot to work on the sock blanket, because summer has decided to make an entrance in our part of the world.
Interesting, the pattern is no longer available. Guess I'm very lucky that I downloaded it two years ago. Now let us pray I don't run out of yarn. Seriously, start praying to which every deity is on duty, because I purchased the stuff on E-bay four or five years ago and Ravelry says it's discontinued.
Anyway, after typing up the pattern, I was able to transfer it to the iPad, and boom! I'm good to go. Yip, life is good.
Oh, and can I get a chocolate shake with that? kthxbai

Color Me Done
Down the street:
Two supervisors today.
Sweater is done.
The buttons almost match.
We've had days of cooler weather, so I'm still able to wear at work. Not at home so much. I'm ready for fall this year.

- Looks like summer has finally made it to Idaho

- Perky and Kommandant are going on vacation, we're bird watching
- Would it be back to put Daizy out side and claim she left on her own?
- Haven't made it to Green Lantern or Super 8, like we had planned to do in the middle of May
- Yea, it's going to be one of those months

Even Fran thinks it's a bright day
I've been sanding down the staff, soon I'll be switching to 150 grit
Soon, the tech kingdom will have two new queens: Prom (plum) and Harvest (apple)

Kerosene on lice
- Kerosene on legs (referring to a hyper active six year old)
List Day
- Counted two cars at the bar this morning
- I'm less than an inch away from neck shaping on my sweater
- Might have it done by next week
- Didn't I say that two weeks ago?
- Who says, one can't be dangerous and yet feminine at the same time?
- I'd forgotten how long it takes to do one simple thing when Excel's calculate now is turned on in a different book, because it affects all of them
- It seems to be the day, nothing really want to work for me
- We got home, and the garage door had been left open all day
- Thankfully nothing was missing
List Day
- It was a bad night of sleep, last night
- Counted seven cars at the bar this morning
- They want two weeks of reporting data done in two days
- Gut check says, it ain't happening
- My cube mate isn't here today
- That means loud music and dancing in my bay!
- Adult beverages would be a nice addition, but that would get me frowned at
- GAH! The new lackey is coming to me with her questions
- It looks pretty dark and stormy outside, hope it clears up somewhat when I want to go walk
- Heck, hope it's somewhat warmer when practice starts tonight
- New boss is hoping to make some changes in the way some things are reported
- Which directly impacts me
- He's also a micro manager, which I'm not sure if it's related to he's new and insecure or a micro manager
- Wow, it's pounding down rain again
- I did manage to get the report updated, guess I was wrong
- Grilltech took me out dinner, he's such a wonderful husband
- Have a good night everyone
It Should Be...
For some reason I think it's Thursday. It's not.
I'm so disappointed.
Anyway, I managed to get a shard of glass embedded in my big toe. I got sometime last night and didn't get it out until this afternoon.
I'm debating my actions of going barefooted in karate.

It's Monday, the Tuesday Edition
It's so hard to come back to work after a three day weekend. Days of staying up until 2230 and sleeping in until 0800, really make getting up at 0430 suck. Course getting to work and finding the server is down really makes the day – well, yanno – suck.
I'm about two-four rows away from shoulder shaping on my sweater. Not quite stalled on it, but not racing to finish it. I know, I should just my butt into gear and get it finished. Because I'd like to wear it before it's to big.
Yet, Another Post
I like to knit both sleeves and fronts at the same time. It's pretty simple, knit across then purl back. Patterns are easy to remember because I just did them 58 stitches ago. If I mess up on one, then chances are I'll repeat the same mistake onto the second item. Fool proof, right?
As it turns out, its a bit harder than I thought to knit both at the same time. I measured one and it came up 10.5. After some swearing, I'm ripping back four rows because I need to be at 10 even. I measure again, this time I'm at 9.5. Knit two more rows and measure again. This time it comes up 11.5. W. T. F?!
At this point, I hold up both fronts and notice the second one is about an inch longer than it's mate. W. T. F?!
I think it's going to be one of those weeks.

Monday
It looks like the world is still here. No one was raptured away. California didn't break off to form its own small country. (Which makes me very happy, some of my very bestest internet friends live in Cali.)
On the karate front my knees are getting stronger - code for - they don't hurt all the time when I walk. I've been feeling up to knitting, a good thing in my world. I've over shot the length I've needed to be, so I'm tinking back four rows. Not exactly fun, but it means I'll have a sweater soon.
And now onto the awkward section of the post:
The other day, Perky and I are driving past Auntie Em's house. I hand the phone to Perky to call Em, to see if she wants to come to dinner with us. Perky does, they're talking and I hear a long pause then Nooo then a continuation of the conversation. Perky hangs up and says, I didn't know how to answer Is she (referring to Perky) pregnant?
To be fair, all three of us Perky, Eldest and I sound exactly the same on the phone.

List Day
- Counted six cars at the bar this morning
- I forgot to set my alarm last night, but did manage to wake up on time
- Our department is in flux and at times it makes me crazy
- Course then, I'm also known for making others crazy
- Tonight is practice, I'm ready to Beat People Up
- Damn, it's only 1015, I was thinking it was 1115
- I tried to cut my finger off last night while making dinner. I'm very happy I didn't because it would making knitting difficult
- Wasted an hour of my time researching something that someone else already knew
- Sigh
- The cat needs to have her claws trimmed
Best of Intentions
I was going to post on Thursday. Blogger was having issues. Figured I would post on Friday. Blogger was still having issues. So, today is my day to post.
Monday seems to be the day of downed server at work. Couldn't do much of anything until it was fixed. Managed to get some side stuff done, but that's about it.
The weekend went fast. Really didn't want to get up this morning or stay at work for that matter.

OMG
I've made some changes in my life and you guys may have noticed it. I'm getting out and doing more. Did you see the pictures of the flowers? And karate. Can I just die now? I can walk around the block. Heck, I can walk around the block for an hour and be fine. Put me in a horse stance? In two seconds, I'm wishing for death. To be fair, it's only my first week AND I'm only doing for an hour at a shot, instead of the usual two. But still....
Another change is I'm running Shadowrun. It's like plotting a book, but on steroids. (By the way Amy, I can't figure out why the hero had an assassin sent after him. It's making me crazy.) I've got plot hooks I'm setting up now and some of players are talking about new characters. (GAH!) Comment to player: I don't kill characters, I fuck with'em.
So between exercise and gaming, my knitting time hasn't been what it used to be. I've got a hat sitting on my desk and the sweater the back is done! Now I need to start the fronts, and I'll have a sweater!!.
I'm not blowing you guys off. Seriously, I'm not. I'm just off spending karma learning new skills.
P. S. Donna Lee the socks are almost ten inches long (total), it's the angle of the photo.

I'm Alive
I've been busy, just not blogging.
Waiting for the storm. Uggy will be in hiding soon.
Shhh, don't tell the knitting, but I've been doing some out side activities.
Grilltech bought me some flowers - pansies my all time favorites!
Finally put the zipper in - just don't ask to see the seam.
Fran had to check the current WIP sweater. She's right, I'll need to tink back a row.
Grilltech's new sock. Started the cuff on the second one. They're actually a very dark green, but look black.
With any luck, I'll get back into the swing of blogging.

List Day
- Counted one car at the bar this morning
- Monday morning had six
- It seems to be one of those days for everyone here
- Both Convert and BBQer were late this morning
- My neck is still very stiff and painful
- Grilltech
threwdropped his coffee cup on the ground - The soda machine wouldn't give me the drink I wanted or my change back
- My system wanted me to update to the latest version of Java, so I did
- Now some of the work applications aren't working correctly
- Won't mention how much time I've lost tracking down the correct archived version to make them work
- Excedrin is a miracle drug
- I think it's raining, can't really tell for sure
- The falcons, I watch on the drive to and from work, are back
- We took off the electric blanket and last night was downright cold
- Not sure if I'll put the electric one back on or pull out the heavy quilt
List Day
- Counted ten (!) cars at the bar this morning
- Grilltech forgot his bag, so no gym for us tonight
- He also didn't remember to bring home his coffee cup last night
- It was a bad morning at the tech house
- I somehow managed to set the permissions to a directory, so certain members can't access it
- Some people are pretty unhappy right now, including me because it needs to be fixed before I leave
- Here's a hint: I have no clue of how to fix it and the people who can are dodging me
- The week is mostly over, mostly
- Dinner is cooking and tonight is Wipeout
Monday
Spring view down the street, I can see sun light.
I had Uggy being my supervisor this round of pictures. She's trying to figure out what the gray cat down the street is doing.
Started sleeves on my sweater, had almost twelve inches done.
Decided I didn't like the fabric, so I started over using size eight needles and a pattern instead of making my own up.
Finished my socks, these are iridescent dragons. (The yarn is purple train wreck, very awesome stuff.)

You know it's bad when...
A phone call to the Eldest to wish her happy birthday goes something like this:
Me: Happy Birthday!
Her: Hmmm thanks, but it was yesterday.
Me: No, it's today. (Frantically looking at a calendar, because I don't want to be voted Worst. Mommy. Evah.)
Her: I know my birthday, you even wished me a good one on facebook.
Me: I did?
Her: Yes!
Me: Oh, I really wanted to make sure....
There is no way to recover from that. I wouldn't make a very good Temporal Witch (or Time Lord).

We're back
We made it back last night. Today was a slow relaxing day trying to get everything caught up before going back to work.
List Day Double Shot
- Counted elven cars at the bar this morning
- The moon was obscured by clouds this morning
- I've got seven more hours before my day is over
- The sweater is off the needles!
- But it's a size too small for me, so Perky is getting it
- She wants a zipper in it, so she's going to need to talk her Grandmother into sewing it in
- I've been poking around looking for patterns, I think I found one I can replicate
- Now, I've just gotta wind the skeins
- And swatch...
- Watched Battle LA, really enjoyed it
- Good night all!
List Day
- Counted three cars at the bar this morning
- The moon was almost full and low on the western horizon
- I've been watching Daria, the best line ever? I don't have low self esteem, I have low esteem of others
- Grilltech says, I'm very much her
- Roxie posted a really sweet link of nesting eagles
- Today's sunrise is very bright & clear and back to about 0800
- Stupid daylight savings
- I'll be happy when this week is over, I can't seem to do anything right
- Okay, the rush of why hasn't this been done seems to be over
- I'm glad this week is mostly over
Waiting
It's a gray day, we're waiting for the rain to start.
Fran doing quality control checks.
What does all of this become?
An Angry Bird...
What else have I been working on?
A sock for me.

Blah
I'm feeling much better this week. Yesterday was a good day. Heck, I can't really even complain much about Monday - other than the fact it was Monday. In a little less than two week's we're going on vacation. Look out Roxie, Perky and I will be in town soon.
In other news:
In other news:
- I have been knitting, but don't have pictures
- I did go back to bed on Friday
- The car is up and running again and didn't cost the GPA of a small country!
- After 14 days of not getting on the Wii, I didn't gain weight
- The real test will be today, because I do think machines lie
It's Been One of Those Week's
Ended up with the plague cold that's been going around the area. So when I was feeling 100 times better, then all of a sudden, my nose wouldn't quit running. I knew I required medical and the person seeing me agreed.
Training is done. I can do it, just not so sure I've got the paranoia she has. Is it paranoia or self preservation? Maybe its a knife's edge of both.
This morning, I didn't want to get up. Could have turned the alarm off and drifted back off to sleep. (I was dreaming I was hiding from a serial killer in a department store. A very fearful dream, but sure beats getting up.) Instead we got up and did the usual routine of drop him off, while I go pick up Friday's breakfast. Because they make it fresh, I turn the car off - it's quite the wait at times.
Only. The. Car. Won't. Start. GAH!
Call Grilltech then I call Convert. Grilltech calls me. The cook comes and pushes the car out of the middle of their drive thru. Eat breakfast, because I've got nothing better to do. After 15 minutes, I try the car again.
It works! =^.^=
Call Grilltech who promptly tells me take it home!
Can I go back to bed?

Remember?
Anyone with a smart phone knows the Angry Birds:
Are you aware of there was a peace treaty?
I was out taking pictures and Fran had to come check it out.
What's she looking at?
That's right, it's an Angry Bird! (Rav)

Monday
Spent most of the day being someone else's lackey. This time around, I'm way happier because I'm actually doing what I need to be trained on. Instead of knitting and generally wishing to do something else, anything else then listening to a cow-orker drone on and on.
We did our taxes yesterday - we're getting money back. Since the tax deductions moved out, my greatest fear is we'll end up owing about eight or nine hundred. It comes from the same nameless place as I'll run out of yarn.I just won't mention that sometimes, I do run out.
Dinner is almost ready and my overlord is trying to get me to feed her good food. Maybe she'll get lucky.

List Day
- Counted four snowy cars at the bar this morning
- Spent the day training a lacky - it appears I'll be having her until next Wednesday
- I went from three rows to four inches on a sock
- Drug Grilltech to the bank to look in the safety despot box
- What we wanted, wasn't there, it was buried on my desk
- Along with an unopened Christmas card from Amy
- I'm feeling pretty much like a bad friend
- Which is odd, because I spent my work hours feeling like a crabby dorkfish
- Speaking of dorkfish, while the lacky was at lunch, I was trying to get next week's forecast set up
- Can you see where this is going can't you? I did this week, instead of next week
- I had to correct this week and get the following week's data done
- Next week, I have different lacky... you'll never guess who
- Tomorrow is Procreator's last day
- I'll be able to catch up on reading everyone this weekend, since I'm busy
knittingtraining at work - Because it's all I can do to keep from grabbing the mouse and screaming you're doing it wrong!!
- Think I can turn the heel tomorrow?
- Good night everyone and Big Balls!
I've Been Busy
Today has been a bit of an odd duck. Rain, snow, hail, wind and sunshine. While I took pictures, it was windy and hailing.
My sweater is coming along. I'm at the yoke and back in the excitement of it's a sweater for me!
A hat for Thunder Mountain Traders.
Grilltech's new socks. They would have taken a bit longer, but I had a lacky today. Will most likely have her for the rest of the week.
Made a baby sweater for a cow-orker, I hope she likes it.
Grilltech asked for a Jayne Cobb hat. The first one I made wasn't quite what I wanted, so I made another second one. Both Baby Bird and Grilltech love them. The hat actually went to Eldest's husband, but Baby Bird snagged it running around wearing it.

Grilltech asked for a Jayne Cobb hat. The first one I made wasn't quite what I wanted, so I made another second one. Both Baby Bird and Grilltech love them. The hat actually went to Eldest's husband, but Baby Bird snagged it running around wearing it.
List Day
- Counted five cars at the bar this morning
- It's a crazy here at work
- A new software roll out for some of the floor for some people
- And east coast bad weather for others
- I'm not liking this month's YOSS, so I'm knitting a plain sock
- Okay, I'm finishing the plain socks I started last month
- The problem with listening to sound tracks? They make you want to watch the movie... all 111 hours of it
- Not sure which is worse, the sickening floral or the overpowering cinnamon smells
- Its been a quiet week, the Gnome is in training
- Told Procreator if he closed the curtains I. Would. Hurt. Him. But the sun is beaming straight into your eyes!
- Only 1.5 more hours of my day to go
- I need to make a pom-pom
- And I need to knit another hat
Stolen for Roxie
Roxie put this up on her blog and I've decided to emulate her:
So, for a bit of frivolity, let's import a facebook silliness to blogdom. I want you to leave a post telling how you met me, but I want you to lie. If you have posted for me on facebook and want to repeat or re-enter the lists with another lie, please do. And, if you would like, I will go to your blog and do the same. With all the active imaginations in the area, this turns out to be a lot of fun!
Everyone ready?

List Day
- Counted three cars at the bar this morning
- Tuesday's sign read: 1 dollar off Tequila and Wednesday there was only one car
- Uneventful drive in, no animals dashing across the road, people pulled over, only one slow driving Chevy pickup
- Yip, it's going to be a day, buttoned my sweater wrong
- Grilltech is crabby
- And somehow yesterday, I broke the HUGE-ASSED forecast spreadsheet
- OMG! There was two bright SHINY diamond color spots in the sky....
- I kept trying to show BBQer, but he wouldn't look in time
- The clouds are being swept to the south today
- Usually, when I see This pattern is available for $0.00., they mean free...
- BBQ'er didn't get his paycheck when he should have
- The HUGE-ASSED forecast spreadsheet which I was working on last night and had a bunch of zero's where it shouldn't have, fixed itself today... I'm very relieved
- Seriously? You make me walk across the floor to ask me a question the person right next to you, had already asked me - ON HIS WAY TO SEE YOU.
- Two hours of my life I'll never get back, and I'm still waiting for the upload to finish
- The guy I was training, really appreciated being able to watch a green bar try and move while he surfed the net
- BBQ'er didn't like it when I told him, They must have fixed the glitch
- My left hand is itching like mad, is that $$?
Almost Here
Spring is coming. Sure some parts of the country are buried under two feet of newly fallen snow and frigid tempuratures.
But here in Boise? The signs are simple and easy to see. A couple of trees are budding. Crazy, I know. It's not even March yet. The sky has been starting to get lighter, earlier and earlier. It's starting about 0715-0730 instead of 0800.
Flocks of Robins have been seen flitting about. Not a couple of Robins, but 25-50 of them at a time.
The final omen? Last night, I found a Lady Bug on my shoe lace. A Lady Bug!
Spring's coming, and I can't wait.

2/5th of the Week
- Today's post started out as a regular one, but ended up really disconnected and scattered, so I turned it into a list
- It's appears that blogger crashed today. Which really sucks, because I read everyone while waiting for the computer to crunch its numbers.
- Guess this means I have to work today
- Last night was a bad night of sleep at the Tech house. Neither one of us really wanted to go to work today, but someone has to flip the calendar to a new month.
- BBQ'er is snuffling, which really makes me want to turn and tell him, blow your nose
- Only ten more days of Joy - the loud talker - left, she's taken a new position within the company
- The sun has now cleared the artificial mountain (another building) and is pouring it's golden light straight into my eyes
- This week's goal: at least four days of exercise
- Procreator's last day is the 10th
- One of the many things you don't want to hear your boss say: I'm really sexy today (He really said: I'm really excellent today)
- I'm blaming the high wall and his use of the Austin Power's voice, plus my lack of sleep from the night before
- It's your hand, Buckaroo
- Turns out Procreator's last day isn't the 10th, but the 18th!
- Okay, is the day over yet?
List Day
- Counted four cars at the bar this morning
- Had a bit of an upset stomach the past two mornings
- Grilltech has put in his order for "his next $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ socks"
- I figure I've got plenty of time before those socks are even something that can be considered
- It hasn't been foggy the past two mornings, but cloudy
- I wish it was only 9 to 5
- Best statement ever: Knitting is not my hobby, its my post-apocalyptic skill set
- I've got a headache brewing, I'd rather not have
What I've been doing
Down the street. The past few mornings we've had dense fog, thankfully it's burned off by mid afternoon.
I've reworked the mitts. Added a thumb gusset and really like the fit.
Fran had to come see what I was doing, because I can't do anything without cat supervision.
Grilltech's new sock. He likes the darker greens.
Almost finished my first skein of yarn, I was worried I might not have enough to finish. I have two less than half skeins used on the sleeves, plus two unused. I'm feeling pretty good about this sweater.

List Day
- Counted five cars at the bar this morning
- There was a a jogger going by at the same time, but I don't think they were jogging away from the bar
- A couple of days ago, I was feeling pretty twitchy. Today it's more deflated
- I've almost finished the first new mitt
- Dad really liked his socks
- Joy, the loud talker I had moved away from now sits behind me again
- I almost miss the other building
- GAH! Fucking lack of communication on other people's part pisses me off
- Second day in a row of the sun rising to (mostly) clear blue skies
- And someone came and closed the blinds, so I can't see out side anymore
- Grilltech is passing a kidney stone
- Hmmm, I'm a Taurus now
Done...
Saturday rained most of the day. I needed to get pictures, so here is down the street:
Perky make me a pair of socks for Christmas:
They fit really well and wore them to work twice last week.
I finished the mitts. While very nice, they're not quite what I'm looking for so I gave them to Perky to give to her MIL. I figure I'll make another pair based on these.
Made these for Dad's birthday next week. (YOSS)

List Day
- There was only one car at the bar this morning
- I'm now moved into the new building
- Longer walks to get to the break room and bathrooms, but I guess in the long run it's better for me
- When did I become the sane one at work?
- Finished Dad's socks(rav) last night
- Then started my mitts (rav)
- OMG! Seriously? I don't want to be in the middle of other people's crap
- There is a lone sentinel goose a-top another building
- It's raining today, instead of snowing!
- At the gym it will be biking and small routine of strength and weight training
- Must resist urge... to purchase... another peacock shawlette... since I still haven't knitted the first one
- Remember, training is good, even if it's basic steps already known to start with
52 Weeks of Goals
Instead of making several broad sweeping resolutions, I've decided to make 52 weeks of goals. Simple attainable goals. Last week it was no eating from the vending machines. (Failed on Thursday.) This week's is four days of gym.
Oh yea, that's what the gym feels like.

YOSS
YOSS (Rav) YOSS (non Rav) is off. I finished up a couple of orphan projects - well not really orphans - before I started my YOSS socks. I've chosen St Brigid's Carnamoyle Stockings. There is enough of a pattern to keep the knitting interesting. The needles and yarn are huge which makes the whole sock a quick knit.
However, it does appear the pattern was written by a novice designer. There are simple errors that would have been caught if test knitters had helped out. A pattern correction out there, but it should be in the pattern.

Tuesday's Pix
Down the street:
Most of the snow is gone in the valley, but the hills still have some.
Grilltech's blanket is done:
It's warm and I've stole it today. It's a good thing he's off to teach tonight or I'd have to put a sweater.
A gift for Procreator's wife:
Folia (Rav) a pretty quick knit.
Christmas present:
This bowl is amazing! It's stone fossils.
Another Christmas present:
How did I live without a Sonic Screwdriver?

Hope Everyone Has:
- a blessed New Year
- time to knit when they need to
- the best of health
- enough money for the things they need
- and some extra for those bonus items
- is happy
