Tuesday Update

As much as I would have loved to, I didn't give up work for Lent. My fat ass has been in the chair working, which is really starting to cut into my blogging time, both reading and writing. I won't even mention how much less time I spend on Ravelry. I think Donna Lee is right, it would be nice to win the lottery. Yea, I know... My odds of winning only slightly increase if I buy a ticket.

We've been doing the Wii and karate, but yesterday it was back to the gym. Today? My knees are killing me. The scary part? I was on the tread mill using speed setting two. There shouldn't be any reason for them to be hurting so badly.

On the knitting front, I've started Dad's vest. The ribbing is done and now it's inches and inches of mindless stockinette. He's pretty much like Grilltech and likes them L-O-N-G. It's a good thing I don't have to pay attention to the needles while knitting in the round.

The scarf/hood thing is a bit stalled. I tend to work on it during game nights. Boring enough to keep my hands busy, but not distracting from the game. So it doesn't see much attention.

I've started another dishcloth, we can't have too many of those. Once that's completed, I've got baby sweaters to knit.

I like mindless knitting for tv nights, otherwise it bores me senseless!

Pk buys two tickets each week and we dream our dreams....

and then still get up when the alarm goes off.

I'm working on the March socks for my daughter and then maybe a soft shawl for me. If my hands (which have been hurting lately) hold out.

The Time Bitch really does mess with our knees, doesn't she? I hate how long it takes my bod to recover from time off...
