About six months ago, I got a new computer. It came with a crappy OS called Vista. Maybe you've heard about it and how much it really sucks. Believe me, it sucked. When the computer first showed up, Grilltech tried to load XP. No matter the struggle, he couldn't get it load. Something about the hard drive didn't like XP, wouldn't recognize it. (I love the commerical with PC who had the PR lady and Mac, talking about how people "upgrading to an older more familair experience".)

Last night, after fighting with Vista and my palm, I turned to Grilltech and demanded he get XP on my system. The faster he gets it done, the happier he'll be. (After all, men can be happy or right.) In morning we went out to breakfast, by 1100 PerkyGoth and I was at the LYS. He called me at 1330, asking me what I wanted for a password. He's such a good husband. By 1800 he had all the updates done and most of my normal software loaded. Guess I'd better be nice to him, since he wanted to be happy.

Note: when handed a glass of homemade mead and he says it's fizzing, it might be infected. Don't look at him as if he's trying to poison you. Smile and tell him how good it tastes, because it is good.

lol...I've heard so many people talk about how horrible Vista sucks. This is why I adore my Mac. :)

I was thinking of loading her system with Linux but didn't want to fight with getting some of the apps KnitTech uses converted and/or working. Thus, I settled for the easy way, Windows.
