Was hoping to go see it today! Instead we've been camped by the phone waiting on news of our grandson's appearance. Hopefully I'll have an announcement later tonight :-)
I loved it, but I had to try very hard at the begining to get into it b/c I was still in the mode of this isn't Kirk! This isn't Spock! Anywho by making this an alternate timeline I was satisfied and will allow that it was a Star Trek movie and I liked it. Otherwise i would have been screaming WWRS (what would Rodenberry say).

I'll probably have to wait until it comes out on DVD but I really want to see it.
