I wish I could knit, but with the heat wave we're getting now (and no A/C!), I'm just trying to stay cool. It's the only time I'm looking forward to going to work LOL
I like the bag pattern. No reason a shopping bag can't be beautiful. Sorry about the ankle. I dislocated mine a while ago and it's so damned inconvenient not to be able to just get up and go!
I have ripped out and restarted my current lace project so many times, I can't count them. But I soldier on....
