List Day

  • I counted one car at the bar this morning
  • Gas is $2.45 per gallon
  • It appears I've been trying to do this post for a couple of weeks, because gas was $2.23 when I started
  • The light sensor keeps turning off the overhead light, guess I'm not moving enough
  • My nose won't quit running
  • Grilltech and I are talking about doing a food change, no it's not a diet... okay it is a diet
  • Cubemate's fan is going, and I am thinking about getting my jacket
  • Grilltech is taking VTO and going home to nap, good for him
  • I've got a gel polish on my nails, I want it off with a fiery passion
  • The geese are starting to nest up now, before they was just wandering about
  • The day is mostly over. Mostly

    Safest (and silliest looking) way to get that gel off is to soak it in acetone. I soak a cotton ball and put it on my nail and then wrap the whole thing in alum. foil. It takes about 30 mins. And no matter what, it seems to take the top layer of my nail off with it.

    I am sticking with regular polish but I use NYC "In a NY Minute" polish drying stuff. Em turned me on to it and it not only helps the polish dry quicker (hard in 30 mins) but it seems to help the manicure last longer.
