It could be worse - he could have noticed it, but hasn't said anything because a) men don't like changes, and/or b) he hates the cut, and doesn't want to hurt your feelings. Give him half a point for b), but he still owes you yarn!
I'm choosing that I did notice but didn't comment. I was afraid I would say "Did you cut your hair" and get in trouble for not really noticing. I figured that if I waited long enough it wold come out. And voila it did.
Okay I'll approve the yarn. sigh even the buffalo yarn.
It depends on how much the current cut differs from the old one. A trim might require a nice dinner, but any serious cutting or color change is going to be a hole he can't climb out of very quicly.
