  • No cars at the bar this morning, it's still closed
  • The ice machine decided it didn't want to work this morning
  • I pulled out a new sock yarn, life is too short to knit with yarn I'm swearing at
  • There is an arctic breeze blowing across me
  • Tried to put the base forecast numbers in the wrong week
  • Yip, I'm now wearing my fingerless mitts
  • Trying to figure out what I want to make for dinner
  • Last night - after I had knitted most of the sleeves up - to go with sleeve caps, instead of the drop shoulders
  • Releash the cats doesn't have the same meaning as release the cats
  • We're back to playing on the Wii

    I completely agree- only knit with yarn you like and only work on projects you enjoy.

    I also pulled out my fingerless mitts already this year.

    I agree on the yarn too - so many wonderful choices it isn't worth working with one you don't like.

    I worked my way through a sock and a half of a cabled/twisted stitch pattern that was killing my hands. I finally admitted that I had no desire whatsoever to finish the socks. I am now just waiting to get up the gumption to pull them out and use the yarn (which I love) for socks I will love.

    Yeah... "Releash the hounds!" not quite as exciting either! fingerless mitts--I'm making my yearly pair, because every year I LOSE THEM! I'm worse than the kids!
